Girls hair should be SECURELY fixed in a bun.   the height of the bun is to suit the individual but usually somewhere just below or above the crown of the hair.

Gymnasts who have a lot of hair may have a dutch braid across the front to take the weight out (this to be then wrapped around around the but rather than in it).  If you are not good at hair or don’t know what to do, please consult with other parents on the team.

Boys hair: Styled to ensure it remains off the face.  Longer hair must be secured off the face with fabric head band.  Hair that falls below the nape of the neck must be put in a pony tail.

ABSOLULTELY NO jewelery should be worn for gymnastics events and please can all nail polish, temporary tattoes, mud scrapes, felt-tip, biro, declarations of love, exam notes on hands are washed off too.

It is not necessary to have a competition tracksuuit for this event but if you do have one please wear it.  Gymnasts must however attend the competition in some sort of tracksuit or jogging suit and trainers.  If you have the navy jog suit with AGC badge please wear this.

Please wear WHITE socks or trainer socks

Please ensure your gymnast has a bag which they can fit everything in that they need for the event.  They will NEED a sealable bottle of water.  They will NOT be able to snack during their competition but if anyone has any specific dietary issues eg diabetes please talk to your coach.
